The Story of Mysterywick

Co-workers, turned business partners and best friends, we met working in the art department of American Horror Story Season 9. Chloe,  a Production Designer (Blade Runner 2099, Manhunt, American Horror Story) and Chelsea, an Art Director (Pretty Little Liars, American Horror Story, Side Quest) became fast friends once we realized we have similar interests. We both share a deep love of gorgeous wallpaper, of clever escape rooms, luxurious candles, tiny handmade things, and harebrained schemes--just to name a few.

When the WGA & SAG strike happened in 2023, the Apple TV+ show we were both working on went down. Seeking a creative outlet, we developed Mysterywick in Chloe's dining room. We took our love for puzzles, the tactical experience of an escape room, and the world-building skills from decades in the art department to make an at-home, immersive experience that we are incredibly proud of.

As we develop more Mysterywick experiences, we would like to thank all who have for supported us this far. Hearing how excited you are about one of the puzzle candles, or how much you love a scent keeps us both motivated to create the next one. Our ever-growing list of concepts to develop is ready to be conquered. We’re excited to share with everyone what we have in store next.
